► Quality & Rules
We hire you as a creative writer, you are supposed to be able to follow the 'story line' of any conversation and write good replies in decent German (grammar, syntax, spelling). You are also supposed to be able to do basic tasks that are required by any company (like logging basic notes). Y
If your account is closed for bad quality, making the same mistakes over and over again, ignorance (answering minors, not noticing your client is a woman) or lots of typo's, this company will not rehire you again. There are no second chances. If you are able to do better, you should have done better right from the start. This is a high paying job, the company expects high quality work. They won't discuss.
► Two step verification
For your login at this company you need the 2 step verification app 'Authy' from Twilio. You can download it here: https://authy.com/download/
AGEC uses a 'WhatsApp styled' system, you can send pictures and even GIF's with your message. You are only allowed to work with one TAB, so one client session at a time. If you have a fast answering client, it is allowed to stay in the session. There is no character minimum limit, so if you have a client wrinting only short messages, it is allowed to answer the same way. However, the rule is: a good message is a message that follows the line of conversation, does not ignore any topics, answers the client's questions and is creative. If you misuse the system by sending short replies on long client messages, your account will be closed.
► Quitting the job
Do not just stay away and vanish, always report when you want to quit. It is not only simply the decent thing to do, but because of the 100 minimum pay out system, you won't get paid if you have less than 100 euro in your balance. This is because payments of 100 euro and more are done automatically. For lesser amounts they need to put a pay tag in the system, so the finance department knows they need to pay you. If you don't inform anyone, no one knows and nothing will happen.
► Taking a leave
In fact this is free lance work and you agree to an assignment of 500 messages monthly. It is a job. Responsibilities from both sides. A company needs to keep their part of the deal (making it all work, enough messages, fast en correct payment and so on), you need to keep yours.
If you can't work, take a leave. A leave is always only in full weeks, so 7 days, 14, 21 or 28.
You can always take a leave, with a one week minimum and a four weeks maximum at any given time, no matter the reason (i.e. study, vacation, sick and so on) but with one important requirement: you inform the company up front (exams, vacation) or right away (sick) and never after. This is not only important to us, but also for you as you will have a job guarantee, once you are back, you can start working again right away. If you don't your account will be deactivated for at least one month.
You are an adult professional worker, you are supposed to know how much time you will be needing for your study or when you are too sick to work.
If you are not sure for how long (for instance when sick), you simply ask for a one week leave first and then inform the company before the week ends, you need to extend it with one week. You can do that up until a maximum of 4 weeks in a row.
